Injury Attorney Kenneth J. Allen and Allen Law Group are donating $30,000 in gift cards to Northwest Indiana families to help them purchase gifts for their children. Each family will receive a $100 Meijer gift card.
Parents and guardians will use the gift cards to shop for their children in Lake and Porter Counties on Monday, December 16. Kenneth J. Allen is working with local school officials to identify families most in need.
“We’re passionate about helping others and giving back to our community,” Injury Attorney Allen said. “Having worked on the railroad as a track laborer, and in the steel mills as a piledriver and millwright, I understand the difficulties working men and women face each day. And with the bite of inflation shrinking workers’ paychecks every day, there is a whole lot of need this year. Good people deserve help, and we want to do our part to help them get through these challenging times.”
“Growing up in Gary, I’ve seen firsthand the adversity many good families face,” Allen said. “Having been blessed with great success as an injury attorney in Indiana and Illinois, I want to share that blessing with others. I also hope other professionals who can, will step up this year and recognize the importance of giving back. Every child should receive a gift his or her own parent, or perhaps Santa, selected just for them this Christmas season. This not only strengthens the bond between parents and children, it benefits all of us in our communities.”
Over the years, Injury Attorney Allen has donated millions to families in Indiana and Illinois, sponsoring programs like Reading Buddies, to promote child literacy, the Kidstop program, providing a safe and engaging environment for children before/ after school, purchasing and supplying bicycle helmets and winter coats for kids as well as complete turkey dinners for 1,200 local families in need this Thanksgiving.
