COATESVILLE, PA, January 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Vincent E. Miles Jr., MPA, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Miles has established himself as a dedicated public relations and government affairs representative for the City of Coatesville. Since 2021, he has assessed the city’s conditions, public policy and quality of life-related issues. He assists policymakers and legislators in amending or developing better policies for the town and provides statistical data to support lobbying efforts on issues impacting operations. Acting as a liaison for city hall and council members, Mr. Miles is instrumental in creating projects that benefit the community.
Before his current position, Mr. Miles briefly served as a public administrator for the City of Coatesville in 2021. He also worked as a one-on-one paraprofessional aide at the Coatesville Area School District from 2019 to 2020.
Mr. Miles has held an associate degree in graphic communications and printing technology from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology since 2016, a Bachelor of Science in graphic design from Cheyney University since 2017 and a Master of Public Administration from West Chester University in 2020. He is also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in public policy and administration at West Chester University. Besides his degrees, Mr. Miles holds certifications in social and behavioral research and responsible research conduct from the CITI Program since 2023.
In addition to his contributions to his full-time career, Mr. Miles has been involved in industry and civic-related organizations, including Tech Phi Tech, 2nd Century Alliance, the Alliance for Health Equity, the Coatesville Youth Initiative Community Coalition and the BringBackBrotherhood Youth Leadership Program. These affiliations reflect his dedication to professional development and community engagement.
Mr. Miles’s professional journey is marked by significant accomplishments, including organizing Coatesville’s first fitness festival, which he hopes to make an annual tradition. Approximately 60 to 70 individuals attended the inaugural event, which was a great success. He has also received several accolades for his contributions, including being named a Vista Millennial Superstar by VISTA Today and recognition as a Forbes Fellow. Mr. Miles attributes his success to his family, particularly his parents, who instilled in him the values of perseverance and community commitment.
As he completes his doctoral program, Mr. Miles envisions making an impact at the federal level while continuing to engage with state officials. He aspires to potentially run for office one day and ultimately sees himself running for the presidency of the U.S.
