    SHAKER HEIGHTS, OHIO, January 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Dr. Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. As the victim of a broken home, Dr. Ahmadu was determined not to let those experiences define his future. Despite attending numerous elementary and high schools, he remained driven to positively impact the world. Although he struggled in school, he won an international award that brought him widespread attention and opened him up to various opportunities. After working as an advertising partner for the Nigeria Television Authority and an advertising agent for Confluence Cable Networks Limited, Dr. Ahmadu gained valuable expertise in marketing, broadcasting, education, and mental health counseling through various roles with Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, UNIBEN FM, the National Youth Service Corps, the University of Benin, and Exceeding Expectations Foundation.

A dynamic mental health advocate, Dr. Ahmadu brought years of experience to his role as an ad-hoc counseling assistant for the Suicide and Depressional Awareness Foundation. Additionally, as the founder of the Voiceover Foundation, he focused on improving the quality of life in health, education, and economic empowerment. In the following years, Dr. Ahmadu honed his skills as a student services assistant at Cuyahoga Community College and as an adolescent health advocate pilot fellow through the Cuyahoga County Youth Work Institute’s Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods, through which he implemented innovative projects for youth and adolescent mental health advocacy.

Drawing on years of mental health advocacy experience, Dr. Ahmadu excels as a mentor with Global Cleveland, where he assists young professionals in promoting economic innovations for global change. Alongside his work with Global Cleveland, he is an emerging leader advocacy fellow for The Civility Leadership Institution and a global mental health advocate and advisory committee member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Through The Civility Leadership Institution, he fosters future leaders in the United States so that they may positively impact their communities. Similarly, in his work with the AFSP, Dr. Ahmadu focuses on suicide prevention in youths and adolescents by contributing to the organization’s walk, advocacy, and education committees.

An expert in his field, Dr. Ahmadu holds an Associate of Arts in liberal arts and an Associate of Applied Science in human services from Cuyahoga Community College, a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Benin, an honorary doctorate from the Across Global Institute of Foreign Languages, and a Doctor of International Affairs from Global Seminary University in collaboration with GEPEA University in Portugal. Over the years, Dr. Ahmadu expanded his professional knowledge by completing a youth mental health first aid certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, which trained him to provide immediate and ongoing support to young people experiencing mental health crises.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Ahmadu has contributed to his community through several organizations, including the Telos Institute, the Cleveland Humanities Collaborative at Case Western Reserve University, the Mid-East Honors Association, and the Youth African Leadership Initiative, where he has served as a community development volunteer since 2017.

Dr. Ahmadu’s professional achievements have been recognized and honored numerous times. He has received the Most Enterprising Student Award through the Nigeria Campus Choice Awards, the Student Brand of the Year Award through the West Africa Citizens Awards, and the Media Personality of the Year Award through the Empowerment and Capacity Building Awards. His recognition through the National Youth Service Corps and the University of Benin in the last decade further underscores his significant contributions. However, Dr. Ahmadu takes the most pride in his journey as a mental health advocate.

Dr. Ahmadu attributes his success to his unwavering faith in God and the positive influences in his life. He has always been mindful of the company he keeps, avoiding negative influences and heeding sound advice. His future plans include launching a social enterprise and a nonprofit that will foster a community for young people who have overcome life’s challenges. His ultimate goal is to develop an app to connect these individuals and allow them to train and mentor each other.
