In preparation for her career, Dr. Beqo holds dual doctorate degrees in pediatric surgery and hemato-oncology from MedUni Graz in Austria. She also completed the Global Clinical Scholars research training program at Harvard Medical School and is pursuing a Master of Medical Sciences in clinical investigation at Harvard Medical School, which she is set to complete in November 2024. Dr. Beqo’s dissertation was recognized as one of the best in Austria, further establishing her as a leading expert in her field.
Besides her dissertation, Dr. Beqo has contributed to numerous publications that have significantly impacted pediatric surgery and oncology in publications like Frontiers in Pediatrics. Her research has also been presented at prestigious conferences, including the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Society of Surgery.
