Since 1992, she has served as the president at WVOB Family Support Services Inc. in San Diego, where she has been instrumental in her leading role. As such, Ms. Holshouser assists individuals charged with or convicted of crimes, providing them with essential support and guidance. Her expertise in forensic social services is widely acknowledged.

The City of San Diego also recognized her dedication to legal education and advocacy by proclaiming Sarah K. Holshouser Day in her honor. Moreover, Ms. Holshouser was named Airman of the Quarter in recognition of her military service.
