Feb. 7 (UPI) — U.S. military personnel worldwide will be able to watch Sunday’s Super Bowl and earlier festivities.
American Forces Network will air Super Bowl LIX, featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles from New Orleans, live on its global television and radio services.
Coverage will begin 3 1/2 hours before the kickoff at 6:30 p.m. EST.
Events and pregame coverage are scheduled for 9 a.m., Central European Time and 5 p.m., Japan/Korea Time.
AFN will live-stream the game on its video streaming platform, AFN Now. Also, the game will also be available as video-on-demand shortly after the live broadcast.

The military streaming service has more than 100,000 subscribers worldwide and has seen over one million hours watched. The app can be downloaded https://afn-now.myafn.mil/.
AFN has broadcast to service members since 1943, and further underscores the military network’s motto, “We Bring You Home.”
In the United States, Fox will broadcast the game and festivities starting at 1 p.m. EST.
The game is the most-watched event on television with 120.25 million people watching Super Bowl 58 on CBS and 123.4 millions including other plaforms. The NFL said it was the most-streamed game ever, with Paramount+ offering the streaming alternative to the CBS broadcast.
The international viewership last year was 62.5 million.
Every NFL game is available on the AFN Now app live and on demand. The past season was the second with AFN.
