One person was taken into custody after a pursuit led to a SWAT standoff in Liberty Township on Thursday.According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, units were called to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol after a pursuit that began in Clermont County led into Butler County.The sheriff’s office said the suspects being pursued had violent criminal histories, including one with an arrest warrant for assault.The pursuit came to an end on Linn Road, where the suspects fled their car and went into a house, before refusing to come out, investigators said.The Butler County Regional SWAT Team responded to the scene and helped execute a search warrant.One suspect was taken into custody and a loaded weapon was recovered for the car.
