Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed is trying out his new material on Kent fans.
The actor is bringing the latest work-in-progress show from his magician alter-ego, Mr Swallow, to the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.
The comedian is taking his upcoming solo tour, Show Pony, on the road later this year, including a night at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
However, he’s still working out the kinks with a string of new material nights across the country before the tour starts in Guildford in May.
The TV star became known to audiences all over the world when he appeared as kitman-turned-coach Nathan Shelley in football comedy-drama Ted Lasso.
He received two Emmy nominations for the role. He has also worked on the Sky One sitcom Intelligence alongside David Schwimmer and competed in the 17th series of Taskmaster.
However, before he became a familiar face on our TV screens, the comedian has been performed as the hapless magician and musician Mr Swallow for many years.
His second self has performed at multiple Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, appeared on panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and presented an award at the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards.
Nick will be at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Friday, March 7. You can book tickets online here.
He will then be at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury as part of his nationwide tour on Sunday, June 1. Tickets are available online here or by calling 01227 787787.
