⚠️🚧 Flooding and road closures ongoing with more rain to come -Matt | News

Active flooding has closed roads in Eastern Washington and more flooding is likely as rain continues tonight and Monday. Melting snow and gusty winds will add to the weather problems around the Inland Northwest this weekend. Below is the latest information as of Sunday morning.

What We’re Tracking

  • FLOOD WARNING for the Palouse River from Potlatch to Colfax and Paradise Creek from Moscow to Pullman. Both will crest overnight in minor flood stage.
  • FLOOD WARNING for Lincoln County, WA. Active flooding has closed several roads in Eastern Washington including all of SR231 between Sprague and Reardan. Latest from WSDOT
  • Flood Advisory across the Palouse, Idaho Panhandle, and Spokane area. Other creeks and streams not previously mentioned could overflow as the rain and snowmelt continues through Tuesday.
  • Avalanche Warnings for the backcountry: latest info for Washington and Idaho
  • Gusty winds 30-40 mph Sunday night and Tuesday morning
  • Saturated ground could lead to more tree damage than expected during these winds.
