After four seasons with FC Cincinnati, star midfielder Luciano Acosta has been traded to FC Dallas, marking the end of his highly successful tenure in the Queen City.FC Cincinnati confirmed Wednesday that Acosta, 30, has been traded to FC Dallas in exchange for $5 million, as well as up to $1 million in performance-based incentives.It comes after recent reports indicated that Acosta and Estudiantes de La Plata, a soccer club in Argentina, were getting closer to an agreement.Instead, the 2023 league MVP is now headed to Dallas, which placed 11th in the MLS Western Conference standings last season.In a post on Instagram Wednesday, Acosta thanked the city of Cincinnati and the club for the time he spent playing at TQL Stadium.“Thank you for everything Cincy, thank you for having me and making me a part of this beautiful road we walked together.
