So we decided Fiona after the Shrek movie, the female Shrek, the couple says they have seen research that shows Fiona should only be green for *** couple of weeks because they already have four dogs. A “moo-ving” storm story coming out of Effingham County, Georgia.The Honey Ridge Agricenter in Guyton has a new addition after a baby bull was born in the middle of this week’s rare winter weather.Related video above: Pit Bull gives birth to green puppy named FionaEddie Connelly, the farm manager at Honey Ridge, told WJCL 22 News that the baby bull was named Enzo by Agricenter staff.The Honey Ridge Agricenter was purchased by the Effingham County School District in 2016.The 324-acre cattle farm, once owned by Sam Zemurray, continues to be a point of pride in the community. It was Zemurray’s wish when he sold the farm and donated his herd of cattle, house and equipment was that it would be used to facilitate agricultural activities for students. “Experiences like Honey Ridge help students prepare for workplace success, but experiences also help students grow and learn and find their passions,” said Barbara Wall, the deputy superintendent.Since 2016, Effingham County School District has expanded Honey Ridge to include diverse programs and activities for all ages. The latest addition: the new state-of-the-art Honey Ridge Agricenter Arena, which will be heavily utilized by groups like FFA and 4-H.”The new arena is a game-changer for our agricultural program and the broader community,” said Yancy Ford, the ECSD superintendent. “It will provide our students with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance their hands-on learning experiences, preparing them for successful careers after high school. This investment also reflects our commitment to supporting the agriculture economy of our community and strengthens the next generation of leaders in this vital industry.”
