It will definitely be a cool weekend with cold mornings on both Saturday and Sunday, thanks to a reinforcing cold front. That’ll be moving through later today. Skies will be sunny all day Friday and into the weekend, but with the cold front moving through, our mornings will be close to 30 on the north shore Saturday and Sunday, and even in the 30s on the South Shore first thing Saturday. The breeze will also be a factor starting Friday afternoon, although on Friday, we should get to the mid-60s for the afternoon high. The cold air moves in over the weekend, as high temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s Saturday and Sunday, but a warming trend develops by the beginning of next week. An additional disturbance looks to be approaching Christmas Eve, and looks like it’ll bring us some showers on Christmas Day. However, Christmas day should be quite warm with a high temperature in the mid-70s expected.
