RED LODGE, Mont. – The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a credit card skimming incident that occurred on October 18 and 19 at First Interstate Bank ATMs in Red Lodge and Columbus.
A suspect, believed to be a white male, allegedly targeted multiple debit card accounts during these dates. The suspect is described as driving a white newer model car, possibly a Nissan, Infiniti, or Kia, according to Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was reportedly wearing a gator-style American flag mask, a black ball cap, and a dark jacket with three stripes on the sleeve. The Red Lodge Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
Authorities urge anyone with information about this incident to contact the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office at 406-446-1234. The investigation remains active with the Red Lodge Police Department.
