NOW, AFTER THE BODY WAS SPOTTED IN THE WATER, DEPUTIES WITH THE SAINT TAMMANY PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE WERE CALLED OUT. DETECTIVES FROM THEIR MAJOR CRIMES UNIT HAVE NOW TAKEN OVER THE INVESTIGATION. THE BODY HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE SAINT TAMMANY PARISH CORONER’S OFFICE TO FIGURE OUT A CAUSE OF DEATH. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office investigating body found in Beau Chene Marina

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has launched a death investigation at a gated community in Mandeville. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a call of a body found in the Beau Chene Marina Friday around 7:30 a.m.A man walking his dog found the body in the water inside the gated community. The body has been turned over to the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office. The coroner will release the identity at a later time. Deputies do not believe foul play is involved, according to the sheriff’s office.

MANDEVILLE, La. — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has launched a death investigation at a gated community in Mandeville.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a call of a body found in the Beau Chene Marina Friday around 7:30 a.m.

A man walking his dog found the body in the water inside the gated community.

The body has been turned over to the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office. The coroner will release the identity at a later time.
