Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Gaspar has carved out a reputation for turning challenges into opportunities and driving impactful change as a leader in engineering. He has earned widespread recognition for his contributions as Manager of Process Improvement at CBE Companies since 2023, whose commitment to excellence and continuous learning has left an indelible mark on the industry.

After transitioning from being a Combat Engineer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army, Mr. Gaspar applied his engineering acumen to the aerospace industry. As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Houston Precision Fasteners, he played a pivotal role in developing heat-treating procedures for aerospace fasteners, contributing to projects as monumental as the Orion Mission to Mars. His dedication to quality assurance continued at NORDAM, where from 2017 to 2021, he worked as a Quality Engineer, developing robust quality processes for aerospace components. This role not only solidified his expertise in statistical engineering, but also introduced him to Six Sigma methodologies, a skillset he later refined as a Six Sigma Black Belt Process Engineer at CBE Companies.

Mr. Gaspar is currently a Doctor of Engineering candidate while completing a Master of Engineering in Quality, Reliability, and Statistical Engineering at Arizona State University, with a projected graduation date in the spring of 2025. His educational journey also includes a Master of Science in Applied Business Analytics from American Military University and degrees in Aviation Technology Management and Quality Control Management from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. These achievements reflect his dedication to both lifelong learning and applying advanced principles to real-world challenges.

He has also acquired several certifications which underscore his expertise. He is a Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ World Headquarters and holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications from the Council for Six Sigma Certification. His commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by certifications in project management and spatial analysis using laser scanning technology.

Beyond his technical accomplishments, Mr. Gaspar is a mentor and advocate for the next generation of engineers. Since 2024, he has volunteered as an Engineering Mentor with CareerVillage.org, sharing insights and guidance with aspiring professionals. He also contributes to the International Statistical Engineering Association’s Conference Committee and volunteers with his local church, reflecting his commitment to community and service.

Mr. Gaspar attributes his success to the enduring support of his family and his faith. His wife, Mikki Jo, inspired his educational journey and brought him to his faith in Jesus Christ. He also credits his parents, Gina Webb and Jon Gaspar, for fostering his curiosity and love for learning. While traditional education initially posed challenges, his military service instilled the discipline and focus needed to unlock his potential. This transformative experience fuels his belief that nontraditional paths can lead to extraordinary achievements.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Gaspar is a passionate researcher. He is currently exploring innovative methods for analyzing speech patterns through sentiment, intensity, and cadence. Looking to the future, he envisions expanding his team at CBE Companies, bringing in fresh engineering talent to elevate service industry standards, and teaching engineering courses as an adjunct instructor.

With his blend of professional achievements, personal resilience, and a deep commitment to mentorship, Mr. Gaspar’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.
