Additionally, Ms. Renard earned additional experience while serving as the director of lower school strings at Frederica Academy from 2013 to 2016.
Ms. Renard’s professional profile includes roles outside of music education. Her extensive teaching experience began in the Colebrook School District, where she was the general music and choral director from 1999 to 2011. Prior to that, Ms. Renard taught pre-kindergarten general music and directed strings at Manlius Pebble Hill School during the 1998–1999 academic year.
Exceptional academic achievements have proven foundational to Ms. Renard’s work. She earned a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in 1996. Additionally, in 1990, Ms. Renard completed a graduate diploma in viola from The Juilliard School, a notably elite institution.
A deep commitment to artistic and civic service further defines Ms. Renard’s presence in the community. She is actively involved with the Golden Isles Youth Orchestra, where she teaches privately and collaborates to provide viable music education opportunities to interested students. Looking toward the future, she plans to continue her freelance work as a stage actor and aims to expand into film. Additionally, Ms. Renard is studying gemology at the Gemological Institute of America, which has opened up another exciting career avenue.
