Ms. Harris is a distinguished professional with over a decade of experience in her field. She currently serves as the president and chief executive officer of Maxx Impact Group, a position she has held since 2011. Under her leadership, the firm collaborates with various entities, including commercial and private firms, government agencies and higher-education institutions. They are involved in sectors such as transportation, transit, aviation, data centers, higher education and water treatment. Additionally, she contributes to drafting state-level policies.

During her tenure at Maxx Impact Group, Ms. Harris was also the vice president of public relations and marketing for the Airport Minority Advisory Council from 2023 to 2024. Additionally, served as the Colorado State Chapter president for COMTO Colorado from 2016 until 2018 and co-chaired the CITY Internship Program at COMTO Headquarters between 2015 and 2018. Her earlier roles include being a project manager and a compliance officer at Armand Resource Group from 2013 to 2016, vice president and a membership chairperson for COMTO Colorado from 2011 until 2013, a national conference co-chair at COMTO Headquarters between 2011 and 2012, and a corporate event liaison at À la Carte Events from 2010 to 2012.

Ms. Harris’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bennett College in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, which she earned in 2008. She holds an ESG certification from the University of Colorado, obtained in 2023, and is a certified contract compliance administrator through Morgan State University. She attributes her success to her faith in God and the mentorship she has received throughout her career.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Harris is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Contract Compliance Association and Hispanic Contractors of Colorado, and she is a former chapter vice president of COMTO Colorado. Her contributions in program management, strategic planning, business development and leadership have earned her numerous accolades, including an award from Colorado Black Women for Political Action, the Rainmaker Award from the Associated General Contractors of America in 2020, the National Emerging Leader Award from COMTO in 2015 and two Women in Construction Industry Awards from Hengelfelt.

Ms. Harris is also deeply committed to civic engagement. She founded Maxx Impact Academy in 2023 and Studio 31. She volunteers with the Airport Minority Advisory Council and the Colorado Department of Transportation. Furthermore, she serves as vice chair of the Small Business Construction Collaborative Forum, sits on the advisory board of the Colorado Black Leadership Coalition, is a board member of the Edwards Foundation and volunteers with the NAACP.
