The threat of tornadoes also increased across the region with now much of Southeast Louisiana under a 5% chance.Here’s the best timing of rain and strong, possibly severe storms on Wednesday.A round of rain with an embedded non severe storm looks to roll through right around midday.Stronger, possibly severe storms will move into the Northshore after 3 PM.Storms are likely in New Orleans after 7 PM.There are indications of 1″-3″ of rain, or locally more, if you get multiple rounds of rain and storms.If the midday showers clear in time and allow a good amount of sunshine to come through, highs could reach well into the 80s once again.Much cooler air moves in on Thursday.Friday will see highs remaining in the 60s too.Our next round of possible severe storms rolls in Saturday night.
