Where will the northern lights be visible?
Tonight’s aurora forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center shows the northern lights visible in parts of the northern United States as a result of a geomagnetic storm reaching Earth.
NOAA’s forecast issued Tuesday predicts the aurora could be visible as low as parts of the Midwest. In the northeastern part of the country, the forecast includes visibility in northern Vermont.
When will the northern lights be visible?
The northern lights could be visible tonight once the sun goes down in parts of the northern United States, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
