LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Olive Garden is finding a second home in the second largest city in Nevada, according to city documents and new fence signs along Lake Mead Parkway.
The 0.45-acre lot at the Lake Mead Commons retail center, located near the intersection of Lake Mead Parkway and Water Street, will soon feature an Olive Garden location, which will feature 7,7000 square feet of restaurant space.
New signs on the chain link fence wrapped around the property were spotted by residents, and a topic of conversation at a recent Henderson Morning Meetup.
Olive Garden Holdings took ownership of the property in June 2022.
In Oct. 2023, the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency awarded Olive Garden Holdings LLC., the parent company of the Olive Garden restaurant chain, a $50,000 grant for construction costs associated with the property, this was listed in city documents as a business incentive.
According to city documents, the property is expected to create 60 full-time positions. Annual taxes based on the projected revenue will be $427,125.
The area will also soon have a Better Buzz Coffee and a new Raising Canes, located next to the Saint Rose Dominican Hospital.
