Police have arrested a man who was accused of assaulting a family member of his in Springfield Township on New Year’s Eve.Mohammed Nayel Alsarkhi, 43, is alleged to have caused serious bodily harm to a family member.According to Hamilton County jail records, Alsarkhi was booked into the jail at 2:12 a.m. on Saturday.Alsarkhi is being held on charges of felonious assault and domestic violence.Police did not provide any more information about the crime that Alsarkhi is alleged to have committed.He was arraigned Saturday morning. His bond was set at $10,000.His next court date is Jan. 15.
