Three arrested in connection to armed robbery incident | Crime and Courts

VIENNA, Ill. (WSIL) — Three people were arrested in connection to an armed robbery investigation at a business in Vienna last week.

The Vienna Police Chief Jim Miller stated the three were taken into custody recently after a traffic stop in Waterloo, Illinois.

Chief Miller stated there was a hit on a license plate reader in Murphysboro and Paducah. The Marion Police Department helped with gathering information from the license plate readers which was then later tracked to a vehicle in Waterloo, Chief Miller tells News 3.

With the help from Waterloo Police Department, Chief Miller said officers pulled over the vehicle and then took the three into custody and to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

After Chief Miller interviewed the three, he said they were then extradited back to southern Illinois.

The three suspects are Dale Davies, 29 of Waterloo, Lauren Moore, 21 of Waterloo and Ashley Eugene Moore, 45 of Waterloo.

Chief Miller said Davies is the one accused of entering the Family Dollar store. He faces the following charges…

  • 4 Counts of Armed Robbery
  • 2 Counts of Robbery
  • Aggravated Battery

Davies was taken to the Massac County Jail.

Lauren Moore faces the following charges…

  • 4 Counts of Armed Robbery
  • 2 Counts of Robbery

Ashley Moore faces the following charges…

  • 4 Counts of Armed Robbery
  • 2 Counts of Robbery

Both Lauren and Ashley Moore were released after the charges were filed.
